42-34 Purdue @ the half.....Boilers doing pretty well with the turnovers. Ole Miss with 20 3-pt FG attempts, connecting on eight - the majority of those later in the half. TKR and Smith with 14 each to pace Purdue.
Murray and Klafke (off the bench) have 8 each for the Rebels. Good battle of two likely NCAA tournament teams here.

They have a guy averaging 1 ppg on the season and 1 made 3 with 8 pts off the bech at half and 3 for 3 shooting 2 of which are 3s. And thats a diff guy than the bum with 0 made 3s on the year being 2 for 2 off the bench LOL
Not the only one being slow to the ball or too far off their defensive assignment

Purdue's shooting has helped - overall Purdue leads 18-13, but behind on offensive glass 3-5.
Purdue was outscored 21-12 over the last six and half minutes - have to shore up the defense, but Mississippi is a good team. Think they'll get some good wins in the SEC.
I'm a little disappointed at the close of the half. I know games ebb and flow, but I want to see the death punch and knock them out. This is an undefeated, ranked, major conference team at a neutral site on national television. Too often I've seen us get complacent with a 12-point lead then I go take a leak and when I come back, we're only up 2. Painter is pretty solid at half-time adjustments and neither team has had much team to strategize and game plan so I'm excited to see a good second half.
If you had asked me pre-game if I'd be happy up 8 points at halftime and my answer would have been a no-brainer. But when you are up 18 with 5 minutes left then only go into the locker room up 8 it leaves the door open to them making some adjustments and cleaning our clock in the second half.
Hopefully we can finish this. I want to see the Colvin, Harris, Cox and Heide show in the second half.
Make them fear our entire team so they can't focus on just taking out Braden or TKR.

One thing - TKR is becoming a different kind of beast.....that bodes well down the line.
