Badgers and the Gophers locked in a good battle @ Williams Arena. Tied at 64 with less than 4 minutes left. Minnesota has had no answer for Happ in the second half; he has 26. Minnesota shooting fairly well (other than Mason) and limiting turnovers.

edit: Minnesota has just turned it over three straight trips...Wisconsin now up two with 2:15 left.

I think the "most clutch player in the B1G" award is between Bronson Koenig and 'Melo Trimble.

Yeah, Nage. Koenig hit two threes in OT, including the game-winner. Last two gopher possessions were more like groundhogs....Wisconsin pulls it out.....78-76.

Starting to think that Wisconsin may make it through the conference with 3 or 4 losses. We've probably already used up our margin for error with the Minnesota and Iowa losses if we hope to win the Big Ten.

The good news is that in the BTT we seem to have their number if we can make it to face them. Unfortunately that is in Washington DC this year so that probably elevates Maryland, who looks like maybe they're on our level as well, to a top contender to win that.

Great game, arena was sold out for the first time in 4 years. The crowd certainly spurred the Gophers on...could have gone either way. When P. visits Madison we'll give you a taste of your own medicine. Can't wait.
