I talked with my son today, who lives in Orlando. He told me about a young kid that just graduated HS with my granddaughter. Apparently, the kid was experiencing some of the CV-19 symptoms, but he just blew it off, because he wanted to play BBall with some of his friends and then go to a party later that night. At the party, he talked with my granddaughter. The next day, apparently, his parents convinced him to get tested and he popped positive. When asked WTF he was thinking, when interacting with so many different people, after feeling the symptoms, his response was, "My bad."
It's too early to determine how many people that young idiot infected, by his selfish behavior, but I suspect he is just one of many, who would rationalize away the symptoms, rather than keep from doing everything he wants.
Now, both my granddaughters and my son are on lockdown for two weeks. Unfortunately, it's impossible to idiot proof the world.
