We just need to relax and get into our sets. This 2nd half our guards need to play harder on the defensive end.
Just keep it up for 20 more mins to avoid being the only team that will ever lose to 16 seeds in back to back years. They do that and I’d bet everything I own it will never happen again
give Furst a couple of minutes to spell Zack, TKR is a bit stiff
Boilers inspiring zero confidence in their ability to win 4 games…or maybe even one.
They are drivers and shot makers mostly. D needs adjustment. Not sure if Trey can sag enough so Zach can move a couple feet closer to shooters. Stop penetration and hit FTs no turnovers
Offense is leaving a lot of points out there. 36 at the half against the second worst team in the field is no bueno.
I’ve given up hope on 4 games. I just don’t want to feel beyond embarrassed for another Calendar year. This time it would be 100x worse
Grambling has made some tough shots. We’ve missed more we should have made than they’ve made that they should miss though
honestly I have a small small sliver of hope that once we get past this game. We will be playing a team that will simply prepare for Zach and not sell out with this “nothing to lose” mentality, and when they play their normal game, our normal game is superior. But it’s a sliver at this point
We do seem to do better against more traditional teams
I only think this because we are the only 1 or 2 seed that has one obvious part of the offense you can plan for. And it’s easier to plan killing the center than guarding Knect
Dozier is killing them on drives.....not sure what's up with Lance Jones - off on both ends of the floor so far, IMO. Boilers need him to get going.
I think the answer is, “Yes,” to both of those questions from the Purdue perspective.
Gillis man, I can’t believe it. It’s like he wants to puke mid stroke. I’d sag off anyone but Braden and Loyer at this point
We need to stop playing angles and front our man on defense. Zach isn't coming up on the mid range shot. We have good size and length to stop those shots.
I want to see more Colvin, has quickness and hops to counter their quickness
He is one of my favorite all time boilers but he seems to prefer to be a observer to this game.
If a team thinks if they play to their own ceiling they have a good chance, that’s good for us. These teams hack us, swarm Edey, and do completely crazy things that throw us off. Should we overcome it? Yes. But teams don’t do this in non con. They try to play their game
Colvin has been playing better D. Play him
Hack-a-Zach works if you can’t make them pay for it at the line. 4 for 10 including missed all 3 front ends isn’t getting it done.
The grambling guys might as well lay on top of Edey. The refs aren’t calling it.
It's almost like he gets shell shocked in this environment. He's tough as nails until this tournament. I hope he wakes up and gets it going.

Yes Edey missing all these free throws is also an issue. He hits half of them and we are up probably closer to 15. Not amazing but you feel pretty comfortable
Lance and Mason contribute this half should be enough. Where is Lance on the D?
Indy is close enough to home I was hoping we’d get “I can hit 9 threes in a game” Gillis. Not “black hole on offense tournament” gillis

Everybody wants to get theirs in the tourney. Every time zach is in and they don't give him the ball at least once is just ridiculous.
Lance is no where at all. Airballed a three, is not under control driving, and mediocre on defense
Force baseline but then you risk fouls on Zach. Might see that deeper into the half if Zach had no foul trouble
