We are just out of sorts in this first half. Hopefully, Painter can make major adjustments in the second half.
Unless something changes in the second half, I guess this is a night we die by the 3.
Wtf are you talking about? He's a very good coach and what I'm watching is a very well coached team, especially on defense
it's not that wide but we can't be helping them 4 possessions in a row. No one wins a road game playing like we are.
I'm not giving up and going to bed yet.. I still think there's a chance at least... (and if they actually pull it out, I want to see it)
This half makes me understand our limitations on this season. Our freshman aren't ready for primetime yet. Let's hope they get there by B1G season.
Once they drop out of the top 25, I don’t see how they can even get close to it again for at least 2 more years.
Playing like this will be lucky to finish in top half of BIG and make NIT. Sloppy and not working the ball, not to mention the disparity in athleticism.
He's had incredible levels of talent in past years and literally did nothing with it. My comment isn't based on tonight's game.
Next year could be rough, unless both Gillis and Newman can step up and produce right away.
The good.....Boilers 10-11 FT

The ugly.....4-17 from deep (and many were not close, IMO)
However....as bad as it looked at times, 12 points is not insurmountable.....need some adjustments on defense, and work a little inside on offense. C-Boogie needs a more efficient half, too. Get Nojel Eastern more involved on the offensive end......we shall see.....first 5/6 minutes will say a lot.....get it down to six or so.

Not that wide??? What game are you watching? I saw a completely overmatched Eifert and Boudreaux. We have limited talent and no depth at the 4 and 5.
Need to pump the brakes on offense. Purdue is playing too fast, taking bad shots and being sloppy with passes. This plays into exactly what FSU wants.
Get this to a half court game and still have a chance.
He has had some talent, yes.....they did make a pretty good run last year and gave Michigan a challenge in the West Regional Final.
He was run out of the tournament several years prior to that with ALOT of talent.
Gonna be nearly impossible to win if Carsen continues at 1/6 from 3 pt and 3/7 inside arc. He just can't go 4/13 against teams like this and have the others make up the difference... particularly when they aren't shooting well either.
Like maybe recruit some athlete basketball player for the 3-5 positions. Geez this is ugly. Thankfully FSU sucks on offense.
no they aren't. rebounds are even. their center has 5 points. ours has 4. Carsen played us out of the game. He can play us back in.
