First 30+ point win on the home field if a power conference team since winning at Northwestern 56-21 in November 1998.

Might we be headed back to the gun slinging days?


Oh , ya, and first winning streak of any kind since winning three in a row to close out the 2012 regular season.

This is the most happy I've been since 1997. I was at the game and then had dinner in suburban StL and I was so proud to wear Purdue. I'm a huge proponent of separating the academic and the athletic side of our school. But it's been awhile since I walked proud through a sports bar. At least during FB season.

As far as I can tell, today was the fewest points Purdue has given up on the road since housing Illinois 48-3 in Champaign during that magical 1997 season.
