UK has a pretty good resume. Now 7-5 against Q1 opponents. Wins over Gonzaga, Louisville, Duke, Texas A&M, Miss State, Florida and Tennessee.

Yeah like not at all. When the top SEC teams lose to each other they won't really lose ground.

Oh yeah, I can see us being a #2 seed. Oh sure! It’s time some of you came back down to Earth. Purdue’s chances of being a 2 seed are about the same as Edey making rookie of the year. It’s possible but I’m not going to put money down and bet on it.

As losses go, this was not a quality one. We looked too far into the future. And kind of took OSU at home as a given. I’ve seen this too often from Purdue teams, especially in the tourney when they look ahead to the second game and forget to take care of business against the easy opponent.

Purdue’s basketball history is filled with broken records. You come off a big win, receive personal awards, talk about painter being a hall of famer deserving of a lifetime contract and then the team lays an egg against an easy team

I stopped reading after "If you'd read an earlier post of mine" and I saw the typical wall of words. You must be in one of your irrational moods if this followed your previous post.
 
Chances are unlikely that there will be 3 SEC, # 1 seeds on Selection Sunday. Good Purdue needs to show up for the rest of the regular season, avoid any further home losses, PSU like losses, and attain their three Pete. Unbelievably, a # 1 seed awaits.

Just sneak on into that backdoor 1…if they get the 1…would they get the Midwest?

If not, I’d rather them get the 2 in the Midwest to play in Indy for second weekend.

What’s crazy is that Paint isn’t being talked about anywhere for NCOTY. But here he is, going for a 3 peat and potentially a third straight one seed. More than likely it’ll be a 2 or 3, but still losing the NPOTYx2 and still having your team be this competitive and not even have a transfer, is ridiculous.

I know as fans we love looking at the bracketolgy of every sports writer, even the ones that know less than us, but its really useless, way to much basketball left. Only a bit over half way through the Big Ten season and none of the Big Ten playoffs.

But we have been better than I thought, even if I feel we are a bit over ranked.

But Matt Painter is a top 5 coach in the country right now. Not sure I can think of 5 better coaches coaching basketball right now.

3 SEC 1-seeds means none for the B1G. Because Duke will get one.
 
Southeast Conference is the best conference this season...and Purdue played four (4) teams from that conference (Bama, Auburn, Texas A&M and Ole Miss) winning 2 and losing 2...very much helping our SOS.

I would like a #2 seed in the Midwest with Tennessee a #1 seed...
