Hazell understood that he had recruited nobody with a pulse a lot earlier than many on this board... Going all in game one was just pure desperation, trying to do anything to save his job.

While he's an articulate and well-spoken guy, Hazell has proven quickly that he can't recruit, has no idea on whom to hire as assistants, and that he couldn't lead a goat into a Chicago bar.

When IU's football team now is better than Purdue's, that says all that is needed to be said.

The real question is can DH2 lead a billygoat into Wrigley Field??

The 70th Anniversary is TOMORROW:

"Usher Olaf Logan, left, stops William Sianis, owner of the Billy Goat Tavern at 1855 W. Madison Street, from entering Wrigley Field on Oct. 12, 1945. Logan asked Sianis and his goat to leave because the pet's odor was bothering the other fans. Sianis, outraged, declared "Them Cubs, they ain't gunna win no more!" This has been interpreted to mean that there would never be another World Series game won at Wrigley Field. There has not. The Cubs have not won a National League pennant since this incident and have not won a World Series since 1908."
(side note - look at the number on the turnstyle)
