Why so many guards. He had to hit the portal this year for big men. Has to many guards already.

Shooting forward, also referred to as a wing.
A majority of the time, guards tend to win you games more than the front court in March/April. And don’t worry. He’s recruiting guys for the front court.
Guards are important, but most champions are very strong inside as well. They might not always be the top scorers, but more often than not they are physically dominant inside.
Wow. Three day official? That seems like a long visit, hopefully indicating significant interest.
He realized he needed big men and that’s why he used the portal this year.
Not sure if posted here yet, but saw on X Tay Kinney signed deal with Adidas.
Seems like that would make it tougher for Purdue and Kentucky and elevate Louisville and Kansas chances quite a bit?

Could be. He’s from Kentucky area and I’d assume UK or Louisville would be in the lead. I’d assume with that singing, Lville is the leader.
I don’t think he will be as interested in coming here with Mayer and Ertel along with the other guards who will already be here.

@oldboiler52 any insight here? It seems we offered yesterday (according to 247 we offered yesterday and he scheduled a visit for late August —29-31)
Is he a 4 or a 5? If he is a 4, the roster screams opportunity at the moment. I could imagine him wanting to get ahead of Trey Thompson’s decision, though I do expect that Painter would gladly take them both.
Well, he’s 6’11 but listed at the 4. He seems to have grown 2 inches this past year.
