“Colben Landrew came in at No. 84 in the most recent
2026 On3 150 update. The 6-foot-6 wing at Marietta (GA) Wheeler High earned Georgia Class 6A Player of the Year honors this season. He scored 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the state championship win.
“I play with a good pace, kind of like a Paul George,” Landrew told
On3. “I make good reads, and I don’t get sped up. I like to watch George and Desmond Bane, I like their games; they make shots and don’t get sped up.”
Landrew, a former wide receiver, claimed football offers from Ole Miss, Florida, Louisville, Arkansas, and more. When he transferred this high school season to Wheeler, Landrew put down the football and decided to focus only on basketball.
“Since I’ve been done with football and focused on basketball, I’ve been in the gym working on my body,” Landrew said. “I’m eating differently and I’m on the Vertimax every day, working on my athleticism.”
“I’ve only taken one official visit so far, and that was to Ole Miss,” Landrew said. “I’m talking about visits right now with schools like Georgia, Purdue, Mississippi State, Auburn, and a couple others.”
PURDUE: “They started recruiting me last year. They came to one of my live period games, and we have a great relationship. Ever since then, they’ve been talking with me and recruiting me heavily, even before they officially offered me. They let their guards play a little bit, get some shots for the wings, and he (
Matt Painter) will kind of let them play a little bit.”
