The exciting thing is that if he is a 2 and done kid he'll have shown us to other kids of that caliber while we are being national title contenders. Much more likely to find another one and keep increasing the profile of the program.

Reynolds won’t be at Purdue, I’m fine with that.
Just going to drop this here Purdue seems to have stepped up recruiting of Pike's 2027 now 7'0 Isaiah Hill. Kid just keeps growing up not out maybe weighs 150. PJ is the lead recruiter.

What year is Eric? Is he considered a high-level prospect? I guess DJ was wildly underranked through spring of last year until he made the USA Basketball team, so maybe whether Eric is considered a high-level prospect doesn't matter.

I vaguely remember when Daniel committed seeing a post/refgerence somewhere mentioning his younger brother and it might have been his dad or a coach saying they thought he might end up being better than his older brother in the end. But that has been a couple years ago and i have no clue where i saw that lol. It’s curious his name isn’t among the 2026 recruits being mentioned as of yet…

Sounds like Ertle needs to step up his recruiting! Anthony Thompson is a future star with his size and skill.

If he's not been an NBA all star Eron Gordon has been close. Very good player who was one of the top free agents on the market a couple of years back.

IU just offered Trey. Very similar to Sisley, so interesting to hear their pitch. He had quite a few high majors watching him over weekend, so the secret is out.
Looking at how much Devries prioritized shooting/skill in portal, it will be interesting to see if IU and Purdue have some more head to head battles and are looking for the same type of player.
