Libs gotta Lib

The city wasted millions in taxpayer dollars by giving controversial migrant services firm DocGo free rein over its $432 million no-bid contract, allowing it to bill for unused hotel rooms and uneaten meals, according to a scathing new audit by Comptroller Brad Lander.

Purdue football 23 days to Purdue Football: Reggie Love III and Trey Smith

Reggie Love III - Sr.
St. Louis, MO (Illinois)
5'11", 215 pounds
Running Back
2024 Projection: Contributor

Love is the first of two players today that are transfers in from Illinois, following Ryan Walters just a year later. With Love, he is poised to fill the role that Tyrone Tracy had last season. Devin Mockobee is going to be the starter in the backfield, but Love chose to use his extra COVID year in West Lafayette after rushing for 1,067 yards and six touchdowns in four years in Champaign.

I really like this addition. It takes some of the pressure off of Mockobee and allows him to have a break during games. Purdue's ground game worked really well last season witht he duo of Mockobee and Tracy, so I can see it not missing a beat this year with Love sliding into Tracy's spot.

Trey Smith - Fr. (RS)
Apopka, FL (Illinois)
6'4", 245 pounds
Rush End
204 Projection: Reserve

Smith may not hav e played under Walters, but Walters was undoubtedly involved in his recruiting. As a true freshman last year he only saw action in a pair of games for the Illini and was able to hold on to his redshirt.

Smith is projected as a rush end, and with Will Heldt, Shitta Sillah, and Jireh Ojata ahead of him on the depth chart there is not a lot of pressure for him to perform immediately. He is probably more of a developmental player at this time.

Voting for traits....my beliefs

  1. Anyone who votes for someone because of their skin color is an idiot and a racist.
  2. Anyone who votes for someone because of their sex is an idiot.
  3. Anyone who votes for someone because of their ethnicity is an idiot.

  • Vote for the best candidate who's going to do the best job for everyone that lives in this great country.
  • Vote with intelligence, not because someone is a Demo./Lib or a Conservative not because they're promising stuff you know in your heart they can't deliver.
  • Vote for someone that will at least talk about balancing the budget which will be 40 trillion by election day, a debt that will stifle your kids, your grand-kids, and their kids. most of which is owed to the Chinese virus folks.

Is it time?

Should conservatives stop supporting liberal businesses? This political polarization is ridiculous.

  • Poll
What do you really think is going to happen?

Who wins?

  • Harris easily

    Votes: 1 20.0%
  • Trump easily

    Votes: 1 20.0%
  • Harris close

    Votes: 2 40.0%
  • Trump close

    Votes: 1 20.0%

I see a lot of bravado and jokes about VP Harris around here, but I have a feeling that the laughter that follows is nervous. the VP is now leading in every poll as far as I can tell, and some by a wide margin. She has a seemingly likable, relatable running mate from the Midwest. Trump is a terrible candidate, and he's not running against a dead guy any more. Say what you want about the polls, but they mattered when they showed Trump trouncing Biden.

Purdue football 24 Days to Purdue Football: Anthony Brown

USATSI_21971068.jpg

Anthony Brown - So.
Detroit, MI (Milan HS)
6', 195 pounds
Defensive Back
2024 Projection: Contributor

Last season was Brown's first at Purdue after he spent 2022 at Arkansas. He didn't play there, but at Purdue last season he saw action in all 12 games as a reserve. He only finished with three tackles, but he had a forced fumble against Nebraska.

Although he is listed as from Detroit, he played in high school at Milan HS in Tennessee. There he played both defensive back and quarterback on a team that finished 14-3 and reached the state title game.

Brown should be a candidate for a breakout season. His experience will help a lot off the bench.

Philly mayor leaks video saying Shapiro Dem VP Choice

Like with everything in Kamalot .....it's a screw up! They can't even do an announcement right....Philly mayor leaking video w/ Shapiro as VP.

I don't know if he is the guy???
But IF so ... can you imagine a San Francisco & Philadelphia ticket. 2 of the most filthy, drug ridden, messed up cities in the USA. Lol what a pair!

Not sure how the Jewish Shapiro helps her in Michigan? Might in PA....but the guy has screwed up so much like sexual harassment scandal, school choice veto & his war on energy, that he has made alot of enemies....even though some poling say people like him. Although his screwups are chiseling away at that.

Maybe she did KH a favor by posting the screw up early & KH will get feedback & go another way??

Purdue football 25 Days to Purdue Football: Ty Hudkins

Ty Hudkins - Fr.
Grand Rapids, MI - Forest Hills Central
5'11, 197 pounds
Defensive Back
2024 Projection: Likely Redshirt

Hudkins had a great senior season last year, and as a safety he looks like he could be a good fit within Purdue's defensive scheme. He helped his team to a state campionship in his senior season last year with a monster game in the title game. On defense he had three tackles and an interception while grabbing six catches for 115 yards and a TD on offense. He finished the year with 98 tackles and five interceptions while being named Michigan Player of the Year for divisions three and four by the AP.

The biggest limitation to Hudkins seeing the field is likely Dillon Thieneman. They share a similar position and playing style, thus making it touch for Hudkins to overcome him. Still, he is a good pickup for the future.

Mark Herrmann now member of Purdue radio broadcasts

I usually follow Purdue football games on the radio and have always enjoyed the knowledgeable broadcasters. Now Mark Herrmann has replaced the one who has retired. Pete Quinn. Hopefully the quality of the broadcast will remain the same as I always got more from their comments then watching the game myself on TV as you are restricted then by what the TV screen shows and not other things happening on the field during the play. It's also always nice to hear the game from a Purdue standpoint than some of the garbage from the TV announcers. Here's a current interview with him- Login to view embedded media .
