STORY: McCarthy has historic performance, rookie tandem flashes potential in season opening win

Lana McCarthy turns in historic showing as Purdue’s freshmen front court duo flashes potential in season opener.

Now, we’ll see if the pair can do it again against a step up in competition moving forward.

Quite surprised, I suspected group

therapy would have been successful by now. I couldn't log into this site being out of the country through October. I could log into the other site though. The simplicity of the known, absent the fearful, emotional, unsupported conjecture was available to all. Lack of reality of thought, rather than emotion is disappointing. I just thought a month was enough time to finally get a smidgeon of critical thought together, without being directed by AI or typical biased media or another link for guidance

Depending on the results are you ready, if needed to quickly convert some pretax to Roth?

Ohh Fun...Economy is headed to Recession

With a disastrous low of 12,000 jobs report -- and the last year inaccurately over estimated by 1.2 M jobs.....whomever is the next President has got a huge mess to clean up. And the next 9 months don't look great thanks to Bidenomics price, regulations & border disaster.

So it will be humorous for the first 6 months or so for whomever is the next President.....to see how the media spins it.......

If it's K2.....to see the media spin.....saying give her time, be patient........when she has been there 4 years. Lol.

Then if it's T....to see the media trash him because of the Biden economy carrying over to his admin for the first 6 or so months.

It's all pretty predictable.

Biden calls Trump supporters "Garbage"

And who is the threat to unity & Democracy??? Dare to vote against these folks that cost your family $thousands$, and you are now....... garbage.

So, it comes down to this tomorrow

The election is riding on that 3-4% slice of the electorate that will decide the swing states .

Will people look past what Trump (or comedians at a Trump rally said) said and believe his policies will lift the country out of this hole?
Wil Trump grad enough of the black male votes out of places like Detroit, Philly, Pitt and Atlanta?

Will people believe that Harris will really be different than Biden?
Has her campaign done a good enough job of laying out policy vs just attacking Trump?

When it's all said and done, the entire election will probably come down to 2 states.

That's the way to fix it Joe...sit on your arse while the country suffers.

President Joe Biden said on Sunday he would not intervene to prevent the strike, adding that he doesn’t believe in the Taft-Hartley Act, which allows presidents to intervene in a labor dispute if it threatens national security.

“It’s collective bargaining. I don’t believe in Taft-Hartley,” he said.

Biden administration officials signaled they would not intervene in mid-September, when the union was warning that “time was running out” to reach an agreement.

Post Game Thoughts

Purdue will have a new look this year, but haven't found it yet. That may be okay, for now, as they try different combinations players.

I saw a lot of young talent with raw talent that will be honed over time. But, if they don't establish their look soon, they will struggle against more talented team.

MC- when he's hot, watch out.
JD- give that young man a sandwich.
BS- such a talent.
FL- than young man can shoot FTs, 3s, etc.
Berg- seemed a step behind on O & D.
Furst- seemed strong with limited minutes.

Painter has a lot talent to work with, some pretty young but energetic. The key will be his ability to bring them together to play more cohesively, otherwise, this year will be a tune-up for next season.

Trump’s real closing message: his kkklan rally at MSG

Figured I’d start my own since Buck is a lightweight and has me blocked and won’t post these. But let’s look at some of the unity coming from the collection of klan members at his “closing message” happening at MSG tonight.

First up, some warm up acting shitting on Puerto Rico. You know, fellow Americans.

Front runner for FOY B10

Michigan freshman Syla Swords. She was a McDs AA and in her first game out against USCar led all scorers with 27 points on 9-19 shooting and had 12 rebounds and 2 assists. She helped Michigan stay within single digits of the Gamecocks right down to the wire, losing by 6 in a neutral site game in Vegas.

Interesting that UM went 5 guards as their starters, ranging from 5'10 to 6'3". The 6'3" girl led the Wolverines in 3 point shooting going 5-16 from distance. They will be a very tough matchup for most teams. They also started three members of their outstanding freshman class in their first game against the defending national champs.
