Triple double

…for Braden tonight.

I can see Braden going off tonight against the drop coverage he will probably see. Much like Creighton, he will be looking to score. I can see him getting a lot of assists as well as the team continues to gel.

I’m looking to see focus on turnovers and defensive communication tonight.

The freshmen are all smart so I look forward to seeing how much they improve from game to game. Harris and Cox both have big-ten ready bodies so they should improve quickly with experience.

Purdue men's basketball Matt Painter is befuddled and his team is quiet

"We want to save all the animals."

Matt Painter might not ever get through to the NCAA but he has a talented team and he's trying to get through to them. Not about animals so much, but he definitely needs them to be more.

Hell yeh I'm gonna spike the football!

To all our lefty lib dem friends here, you know who you are (Bob, BNI, Indy, 95, Scratch....who am I missing?), as they say "win graciously, lose with dignity".
You know what? Screw that! The left, dems and MSM have done everything in their power to try and prevent what happened last night, and it still didn't work. In fact, it backfired and Trump won in a blow out landslide.

I'll be sending you my home address; please collect those liberal tears and send them in the correct packaging so I can add them to my morning coffee.

TRUMP IS YOUR PRESIDENT!

Australian Immigration Policy, the Ideal Model for the US

In Australia, anyone who enters the country illegally is FOREVER banned from entering the country again. This includes asylum seekers. A migrant who enters Australia illegally is apprehended and transported to Christmas Island. Here the Australian government pays CI to house them, feed them and provide them with medical care. They are free to leave at any time and they can stay as long as they wish. But they cannot return to Australia under any circumstances.

Under this policy, illegal immigration dropped from 16,000/year to fewer than fifty. At the same time, Australia is one of the most generous nations on earth for accepting legal immigrants.

Kalkbrenner with 49 last night…

Creighton beat Texas Rio Grand Valley 99-86. The game was close through out and was a 5 pt game with under 7 min to go.

Kalk finished with 49 points on 20-22 shooting (2-2 from 3) and 7-8 from the FT line. Added 11 boards, 3 blocks and 2 assists.

They were missing Pops Isaacs (guard who transferred in from Texas tech) who caught fire vs us and hit 3 or 4 3s in a quick stretch.

Only 2 others were in double figures for Creighton (ashworth the PG and their backup big man).

I did not watch, but reading comments, saw that UTRGV had one 6’9 guy and 2 6’8 guys as their tallest players and they tried the ol’ Zach edey strategy….let Kalk shoot as much as he wants but bottle up the others and hope they can’t make shots. Almost worked.

But either way, an almost 50 spot for anyone is impressive!

Play D like ISU/Houston?

Is there any downside to playing the foul heavy playstyle of ISU/Houston this season when the difference between our 4th and 10th player is pretty small? Give Cox, Heide, Harris, and Colvin free range to go for the steal at any time, and give Berg and Jacobsen free range to always go for the block. Dare the refs to call a foul every time down the court. Keep the core 3 free of fould trouble, but all the rotation players could be aggressive every time down the court. They can't foul out all 4 of our guards, and Burgess and Furst can play if the bigs foul out.

What is everyone's thoughts on aggresive foul heavy D this year?
