TKR was MVP, but I couldn't find an all-tournament team. Did the select one? Smith and Colvin were deserving.
here's my 2 cents, after last year's title game I said give Furst the talk ( couple guys said that's cruel and it's not Paint's style) but I'd look for a 6'8 or 6'9 guy from a mid major w/ a scoring ave of 11 to 13/gm. so this yr Burgess could have RS, Berg a ? mark and DJ would get plenty of minutes. So now this yr we got 3 schollies tied up w/ Furst, Berg, and Burgess which will cost us in games vs teams w/ size. Burgess will be a good player thoughTHAT is why I'm hesitant to think that's the whole story. Even just from preseason conditioning to now he's done a ton of running and you'd think be in decent shape by now (yes, yes, matter of degrees of fitness) even if he wasn't prepared when he got here. ???
Keith, I'll tell ya. Bo Jackson is the greatest ath a lete ah have seen in mah life.Frank Broyles paired with Keith Jackson too......for some entertaining exchanges - I can recall a face-mask penalty call and then the replay.....cue to Jackson:
"Woah, Frank....that's your 15yder variety......he didn't just grab it.....he gotta hold of it and......gave it a jerk!"
1st statement: Not on the road and at night.Michigan is about as good as A&M. Washington is about as good as Louisville.
21 million dollar roster lost at home to Michigan. Wownot impressed by Howard, aren't osu players getting enough $$$$ that they have to throw a game
You’re good, Franklin will find a way to blow the game.sucks, now I have to listen to all the psu shit around here about getting in the title game

Furst gone and he will be better than Berg…so it’ll be TKR, Heide, DJ and Burgess. Burgess is going to be good. Game is a bit fast now and he needs to adjust. He had two surgeries in HS. He broke his leg last year, but the talent is there. Trust in coach B and Paint. He was not prepared to play when he got to Purdue, and now he is wasting a year of eligibility. What makes anyone think that he will get minutes next year, with most everyone back. Will he waste the first two years at Purdue? Yep. 🤨
PSU doesn't need to give up easy points to a 24 point underdog.so psu spotted them 7, it's early
Furst will be gone and who knows about BergHe was not prepared to play when he got to Purdue, and now he is wasting a year of eligibility. What makes anyone think that he will get minutes next year, with most everyone back. Will he waste the first two years at Purdue? Yep. 🤨
Still early in the season, but I believe it was SI who said it may be the play of the year. That Heide block was unreal. Dude has next level athleticism.
so psu spotted them 7, it's earlygot a turnover on the 1st play of the game, then scored in 1 play.
99.8% of an upset not happening thereTo me, they are the least impressive of all the conference contenders......don't see the Terrapins taking them down, but you never know.
Well and we already had Fred Akers. They wouldn’t be bringing their huge budgets with themthe big name guys are not coming
sucks, now I have to listen to all the psu shit around here about getting in the title game
I’ll never understand people who could root against Purdue. If it happens then go ahead and slam the admin but don’t root against the old gold and black. Eh, I’m getting oldI'd accept that.
I think it'll be close for a bit. It's going to be cold but I think Purdue comes out ready to go. Personally I want IU to score 100 but it just won't happen. Dominate, and you have a decent shot at staying in the playoffs. Struggle, and likely out.
