Dunks should be reduced to only 1 point.
Even when he's double teamed and Smith makes the pass...there is no urgency from the help to drive it towards the hoop with a 4-3. They just cross the timeline and wait for Smith to start the offense...Colvin and Heide seldom attack the rim. Give Loyer a lot of credit ...our only wing that attacks the hoop.He has no help bringing the ball up when he gets double teamed no body steps up to make the other team pay it will be a long season if they don’t figure it out
You KNOW there are guys out there that aren't rich enough to afford a pro team but are rich enough to "buy" players for specific schools. Those types are short stroking it all over the place as the opportunity for them to control something in sports has finally arrived. But how do you prevent an individual paying a certain player to go to a certain school? Especially if the school isn't involved in any of that deal between a player and booster.
Do you think the Secret Service are doing something wrong when they shoot a fence-jumper at the White House? That's their job! Bear in mind these intruders have not yet broken into the WH building, they just jumped the fence. Should they just try to talk it over with the dude?I don't agree with your suggestions of how to handle a riot at the Capitol or anywhere else. But you have found a new angle with which to attack the police who risked their lives that day. Cowards?
Ashley was psycho. Enjoy.relative to this, enjoy!
Meanwhile, the one person who is shot and killed attempting to force her way into the chamber is called a martyr and used by MAGA and trump to attack law enforcement at the Capitol. What happened on Jan 6 was collective cowardice and mission failure by the Capitol Police. Each one of them should be back-handed out of the police force with no pension. Each cop had a handgun and the rioters had no firearms, yet they failed to secure the Capitol Building.
Since 1974, there have been 24 intruders who jumped the fence at the White House. Eight were shot, one was badly mauled by Secret Service police dogs and the rest were gang tackled. Of the 24, 22 of them were arrested. The other two were not arrested because they were shot dead.
If someone tries to break into the Capitol Building, the CP should shoot them. Take gun from holster and BANG BANG BANG shoot the sons of b1tches. Instead, the CP acted more like park rangers at a national park showing the tourists around. Cowards.
There i$ $omething el$e going on here. This news is almost nauseating. This team was poised to make some serious noise next year with Chicoine and Hudson coming back. There has to be something else going on here.

He drafted him. And then paid him $14 million a year.As a non-Colts fan, but husband of one, the easy response is that Ballard didn't drop a touchdown before the goal line. Good chance they win that game if he doesn't do that. Probably doesn't change the division thing, but their odds of making the playoffs? Wow.
No, he lived in Indiana when the kids were born. Moved to Arizona when he retired.Any chance this dude's name was Holling Vincoeur, the wife was Shelly Tambo, and they ran a tavern in Ciceley, Alaska?
It makes sense, but if you don't recruit freshmen and the player paid to come to Purdue don't perform as expected then it will always be that Matt should have taken this player instead. Also, because we see a person in a different system doesn't mean it will be replicated at Purdue. The high school freshmen becomes a sophomore the next year and the transfer may be out the door the next year. As you alluded there is no 100% fix in play, but fans will always give too much credit to a coach when the team wins and too much blame when he doesn't. I do think a single transfer...maybe two at the most could make sense, but there is no guarantee unless paying millions they work out and even then they may not have the heart. With the portal now available as it is, you have 2 choices. You can either recruit and count on Freshmen to perform. Or you go into the portal for your immediate needs. CMP made the decision not to go into the portal and to count on freshmen (for the record, I back whatever decision he makes on recruits/portal). But when you make that decision, fans expect those freshmen to perform. It isn't like it used to be. You now have a resource (legally) to get more experienced players immediately. If you choose not to use that resource, that is fine, but you can't then say "well they're just freshmen you can't put high expectations on them". I hope that makes sense.
A one time transfer to me is Ok. It’s fine. It allows most of what’s going on. It’s the guys sliding from one team to the next and paycheck to paycheck that need to be curtailed. It was great before NIL fully mobilized. The schools couldn’t stop NIL after the court decision. Allowing a 1 time transfer without sitting out was on purpose. So that the schools who always cheated could buy players right off of other teams.

Then came NIL and the legalized payolas and of course that’s going to hurt us where we are a school that’s never had $ support from boosters vs schools who have idiots lining up to toss millions at kids with no loyalty.
The only thing that can save us here is revenue sharing. I think if we can get creative there and augment with the little NIl we do have we can be a 6-8 win team which is fine with me.
Even NIL has had an effect and I think UGA football is less good and interesting to me. U til this gets formalized and there are contract clauses , no unlimited transfers, etc. it will be hard to see this as the sport I grew up loving and watching. The NFL would suddenly become much more appealing just due to the stability.

You want to have a conversation about some of the J6ers getting punishments that were too harsh?

If you were trying to use the post above as an example of how you use rhetoric and faulty logic to try to discredit real data, congrats, that’s a perfect illustration. There's 10 different ways you can interpret that. But your personal interpretation could be completely different than the actual truth.
He could be referring to a starting role, playing time, his role in the offense, his job on defense, his ability to play inside or outside the 3 pt line.....We don't know (and neither do you).
You're just guessing that was Painter was inferring was that Catchings wanted a guaranteed starters role. But you don't know that, and Painter didn't say that.
We’re at 67 and counting. And 1 Drew Allar injury away from my scenario occurring.I find that unlikely. There's plenty of value in playing in a CFP for players who want to go pro unlike a garden variety bowl game.
