Even when he's double teamed and Smith makes the pass...there is no urgency from the help to drive it towards the hoop with a 4-3. They just cross the timeline and wait for Smith to start the offense...Colvin and Heide seldom attack the rim. Give Loyer a lot of credit ...our only wing that attacks the hoop.

You KNOW there are guys out there that aren't rich enough to afford a pro team but are rich enough to "buy" players for specific schools. Those types are short stroking it all over the place as the opportunity for them to control something in sports has finally arrived.

Do you think the Secret Service are doing something wrong when they shoot a fence-jumper at the White House? That's their job! Bear in mind these intruders have not yet broken into the WH building, they just jumped the fence. Should they just try to talk it over with the dude?

The Capitol Police were worse than cowards. They had less spine than the Uvalde Police Dept. This was dereliction of duty under fire. If they had been soldiers in the Army guarding a military facility and conducted themselves like this, they would be court-martialed. The CP officers on duty that day should be spat upon and back-handed out of the police force, without pensions. They are filth. Calling them mere cowards is an act of generosity.

We are really good, but I wonder if not making it over the hump to the top 5-6 teams is a thorn to them. We didn't do well against the best teams this year. I also heard our coach on TV lay into the players for not being ready to play against Louisville in such a big match. He did take some blame also, but they played really bad in that match, almost non-existent.

Meanwhile, the one person who is shot and killed attempting to force her way into the chamber is called a martyr and used by MAGA and trump to attack law enforcement at the Capitol.

It makes sense, but if you don't recruit freshmen and the player paid to come to Purdue don't perform as expected then it will always be that Matt should have taken this player instead. Also, because we see a person in a different system doesn't mean it will be replicated at Purdue. The high school freshmen becomes a sophomore the next year and the transfer may be out the door the next year. As you alluded there is no 100% fix in play, but fans will always give too much credit to a coach when the team wins and too much blame when he doesn't. I do think a single transfer...maybe two at the most could make sense, but there is no guarantee unless paying millions they work out and even then they may not have the heart.

A one time transfer to me is Ok. It’s fine. It allows most of what’s going on. It’s the guys sliding from one team to the next and paycheck to paycheck that need to be curtailed.

The NFL would suddenly become much more appealing just due to the stability.

Also the modified flea-flicker pick-six play was another disaster......there's a decent chance three AFC West teams make the playoffs - didn't see that coming heading into the season.
