Agree! As much as I detest IU...they deserved to go...I think most would agree if we played that schedule and went 11-1 and didn't get a bid.....everyone would be bit#$$$....the stars aligned scheduling for them....they played Mich and won who beat OSU....just a fluke yr that Mich had a downer yr...we got a break 2 yrs ago and made the conf championship game in a down West div....but one thing is for sure...moving forward...nonconf scheduling and who you play should be a factor.

You're not even correct. There were 1,120 violent index crimes reported as occurring on the subway in 2023, compared to 935 in 2019, a 20% rise.

Good lord I’ve never seen such mental gymnastics to try to downplay the achievements of a team that went 11-1 in the second best conference in the country and then lost by 27-17 on the road in the college football playoffs. And got outgained by a total of 115 yards.

It’s not as if they lost 66-0 and went against the opponent 2nd stringers the entire 4th quarter.

ND was the better team—fair and square. It was a solid win for ND and it was a ten point loss for IU. Period.

That's worth a ton, but it doesn't allow a 5'11 guard to consistently score over size when he's trying to create his own shot late in the shot clock. And that's what his role has turned into too often this year.

OFF TOPIC JUCO players get additional year of eligibility

Players who spent a year or more at the JUCO level are now entitled to another year of eligibility for the 2025-26 season if they are currently out of eligibility. Ruling follows Diego Pavia injunction last week.

Whether you agree or not, it could help the Boilermakers. A number of UNLV starters fall under the same category as Pavia, opening the door for a *potential* transfer to Purdue.

Obviously a lot of moving parts, but that group includes:



Starting center Jack Hasz
No. 2 wide receiver Jacob De Jesus
Starting safety Jett Elad
Starting defensive tackle Tatuo Martinson

We knew that this was going to be a young team, and it was going to take time for us to gel. I don't see this team gelling until late January. The biggest concerns for this time right now is perimeter defense (but this was a problem last year), rebounding outside of TKR, FT shooting (especially TKR with all of the attempts he is going to get), and the inconsistence of scoring outside of TKR and Smith. People talking about Colvin and Heide all of time needing to step up, and they need to for sure, but Loyer doesn't seem to get mentioned as much. Loyer, with his shooting ability, should be lighting it up every game, but that has not happened.

We will get there. The sky has not fallen.

my take on Loyer , at the beginning of the year I thought he turned the corner and would be more consistent but he seems to be reverting back to the 2 previous yrs where he has a tendency to disappear in games
