You can increase the SOS once you've built the winning culture of the program. This program is in complete rebuild mode from the depths of hell. No sense in getting thrown to the wolves.
And no, ND will not get spanked by OSU. NDs D will keep them in the game and the O just needs to make enough plays like they did vs PSU. Go Irish!

The chicken and egg happens in much of life...basketball included. If I'm Myles, I'm putting up shots in practice and maybe video tape him shooting. How different is his shooting in the game versus practice? If not different, then this year it is different from last year. Bottom line is he needs to practice as though it is a game "if" he isn't. Problem is the mental part of his thoughts on that may or may not be accurate. I always thought Aaron Wheeler elevated much more in a game than pregame. Whatever the funk he needs to seek help as I'm sure Sasha could help him. They had a player manager improve Nojel's FT shooting...surely there is someone to help get Myles out of his funk whether physical, mental or both.

BTW, IMO we are seeing more teams scoring in the lane other than Purdue. Teams and players are getting better at the mid range game since teams are really 1) running players off the line 2) not helping off of three ball shooters as much 3) not being able to get all the way to the rim...and now have open shots in the lane...

Yeah it's crazy. I mean he looks funny taking jumpers. You can tell when he rises that it's got no chance. He's going to have to fix it, because he can't get anything else with the fear/inability to dribble the ball.

Like TJ mentioned in another post, he is more focused on scoring and himself, as opposed to almost going out of his way to get others involved. His scoring obviously helps the team, but it helps his teammates get open looks too.

Sorry for the long rant haha. At the end of it all I agree with what you said.

We weren't far from 3 wins this season so I don't think 3 wins next season against an easier schedule is crazy talk. Much more than that shouldn't be expected.

They should really buy out the ND game and schedule an easy win. This program needs some success, not to go to South Bend and get throttled by 45 pts.
