Just saying.

I haven't see enough of the others. Kam is certainly a great player and Sears can shoot it, but who actually represents closest to Bob Cousy's ball handling and passing if this is truly about a player most closely representing Bob Cousy? That would separate Kam from Braden. Braden's assists are also different than Kam's...much more directly leading to a basket in that he creates so much of the conditionsThe four that stand out to me are Sears, Nembhard, Jones, and Smith with Jones and Smith probably being to top 2 in either order. I suspect that both will end up first team All American along with Flagg, Broome, and one other.
From your keyboard to God's earsI expect MSU will lose at UCLA. IMO Purdue finishes 16-4 and gets their 3rd championship in a row MSU at best finishes 14-6. I wouldn't be surprised if any of these Michigan, UCLA, and Wisconsin leap over MSU. I don't see Purdue losing 4 of 9 only way they lose the B1G.
I would be shocked if Gordon doesn't pass her by next year. Gordon just has a far superior physical skill set and is more prepared for college ball than McCarthy was as a freshman. If Kira is as good as some here believe, I would like to see her starting at the 4 and move Layden to the 3 spot.I'd argue Mccarthy and Puryear were on the same level strength wise heading into the season and they probably aren't far off in the weight room right now. McCarthy even had more success than Puryear did early on in the non-conference.
For me, it's more to do with Puryear's skill set, her ability to process the defense and decide what to do with the ball. Her post moves are superior to Lana, better free throw shooter. So I don't think it has to do with strength.
McCarthy is actually second on the team in turnovers per game 2.2 and she isn't even someone who handles the ball. The game is moving really fast for her right now.
I don't want this to come off like I don't want her back next season, I do and would like her to finish her career here. She just has a long way to go imo and might get passed up by Gordon coming in next season.
I hope I'm wrong and she shows some improvement down the stretch here.
I'd argue Mccarthy and Puryear were on the same level strength wise heading into the season and they probably aren't far off in the weight room right now. McCarthy even had more success than Puryear did early on in the non-conference.Of course she's been struggling for a while - we've been playing very good teams, with good, experienced post players. It's been an absolute gauntlet. Thus why it's imperative that our recruiting picks up - the BIG is going to be on a whole other level talent wise than it's been for the last 20 years.
Puryear is improving because physically she was college ready right away. I figured she'd be the first to really round into shape. McCarthy will be a solid player for us the rest of her career - but she needs more time to develop - unfortunately we need a lot from her right now, and we aren't getting it. Thus why we are losing - and often by a lot.
KG only talks about players injuries if is she asked about it. Only time. You have to pry all of that information out of her. Other programs literally instantly do press releases about players injuries right after the news is medically confirmed. That's what I always thought was the standard before this.
As recently as a week and a half ago the Sleepers guys stated that there were 'a lot of bigs in the conference' who would be better than TKR playing along Braden in Purdue's system. No they did last year when he was next to Zach and didn’t think he was that good.
Really sorry to see your upset about getting illegal criminals and drugs out of the country. I know your people welcomed them with open arms and care packages. There’s a new sheriff in town so grin and bear it.I'm sorry it's hard and expensive. But it's not their responsibility to stop people from come into our country. Trump said he was going to take care of that.
Btw, who decides they're doing enough? I guess you'll just take trumps word for it.
Explain how the greatest trade deal in the history of the world, one that trump clearly and emphatically took credit for, allows our two largest trading partners to take advantage of us. Doesn't sound like such a great deal.
B1G coaches have to have him near the top of their list for All-Big Ten selections. And if the Boilers go deep into the tournament, he'll be named to some All-America teams.TKR is such a fantastic talent. I don't think he gets the attention he's earned. Part of it is because of how outstanding Braden is, stealing some of that attention. Trey is such a treat to watch, especially on the offensive end.
Yeah I just went through their thread about the injury. All basically that he's not injured and he's transferring next year. And that Fran is done and they want the whole thing blown up.Yup. Go check it out if dare.
I remember people saying he had slow feet and didn't have good footwork. No they did last year when he was next to Zach and didn’t think he was that good.
Shine the light for all to see!!!So you yourself prove that your statement that "Trump does not know his ass from a hole in the ground " was childishly foolish since you applaud a major 'long overdue' policy.
The WH says "A recent study recognized Canada’s heightened domestic production of fentanyl, and its growing footprint within international narcotics distribution." I don't know if that is true, but if so, Canada needs to do something about it quickly.
I did not favor pardons for those who assaulted police officers. Possibly it is in the same spirit as Lincoln's pardoning of dozens of Confederate soldiers. Or possibly Trump feels that none of them received fair trials because the feds covered up information - such as the extent of FBI involvement in Jan 6 and the coverup of Pelosi's admitted failure to secure the security that Trump offered. I am hopeful Trump will be able to release the covered up info on Jan 6 if it has not been destroyed. Aren't you?
Has Harper played enough for results being a factor rather than potential which shouldn't be rewarded IMO
I'm sorry it's hard and expensive. But it's not their responsibility to stop people from come into our country. Trump said he was going to take care of that.Stopping them at the border is very difficult and very expensive. Canada, and especially Mexico, need to stop the illegals and the druggies from getting to the border.
With both NAFTA and USMCA, Canada has played the US for suckers for decades. They freely sell goods to the US but when they buy goods and supplies, they favor Canadian companies and ignore US providers. I have personal experience with this. I worked for a defense contractor in metro Detroit. I tried to do business with the Canadian military but was told "We are happy with our Canadian suppliers." When I told them that this violated NAFTA, they called me back a couple of days later and said "OK, you can bid on the contract, but just because you're the low bidder doesn't mean that you'll be awarded the contract."
Been a while, but found the following and it may have been as simple as Stutzman's better understanding of the crisis at the border which for years I've had a concern. It's because Young sees all the professional intel on Tulsi Gabbard and decided to express his values and conscience. That is confusing when a guy acknowledges reality and won't bend to Trump sycophants.
And now he'll join in some statement that all is well, and again there will be another vivid example to all that Trump doesn't know what he's doing. Gabbard is a big fan of Edward Snowden and Bassar Assad for crissakes. There apparently is a limit, even for those that want to get elected in a Trump-believing primary.
Yup. Go check it out if dare.Wait, you serious?
Stevenson leaving really hurt us. Now she plays 12 minutes a game on an 11-11 Stanford team. Of course it is Stanford so there is more that came with her transfer than just basketball. That said, I am glad to see some better play from this team the past two games. Only 11 turnovers against Wisconsin. I didn't expect that. Nice.
He's resigning because he's going to lose the election. He's been PM for 9 years.Oh no....the hosers booed our National Anthem! While at the same time, Trudeau is resigning because he knows that he'll be bitch slapped at every opportunity by Trump and will have no choice but to give in, making he love weak and ineffective (which he already is).
