Purdue -5.5

Don't want Braden picking up any cheap fouls early, so maybe put him on Klesmit to start off to protect him? Tonje is one of those crafty 25 y/o sixth years and seeks contact on drives.

Cox will pressure whoever brings the ball up, so assuming he gets Blackwell.

I think coming off of a loss and it being a home game against ranked team will put the odds in Purdue’s favor. Wisconsin should get Purdue’s best shot in a rocking environment.

IF Purdue plays like they did against Michigan for stretches Wisky is good enough to win. Need the role guys to step up.
I'll go w/ we get a W but they cover

Pressing questions for the home stretch

Good guy, for sure. While he was a Purdue assistant and the recruiting coordinator, he was our instructor for “Coaching of Basketball,” lecturing in Lambert and Mackey. The class valedictorian had to be Drake Morris. George still holds Purdue’s record for the most field goals in a game without a miss – 12 for 12 against Iowa in 1971. No fluke -- he went 7 for 7 against North Dakota and 6 for 6 against Michigan State as a rookie sophomore on the eventual 1969 NCAA runner-up -- but Faerber’s specialty really was cleaning the glass. He had 21 rebounds against Tulsa and averaged 10.0 per game as a junior and wound up averaging 8.4 for his three-year career. Then he helped coach the Boilermakers from 1972 through 1979.
“That’s Faerbers Bee Windows…. BEE WINDOWS!”

Matchups will be very interesting.

I’m thinking CJ on tonje and Braden on Blackwell?

TKR and Furst need to control the paint

I know klesmitt hasn’t shot it well, but I expect him to figure it out for one game tomorrow.

Their bench is decent but there is a drop off. Although, McGee is shooting it at such a high % from 3, he needs to be studied. Shot 27% from 3 and now is shooting double that. Crazy.

I expect to be high scoring.

Braden’s NBA aspirations

If Braden leaves prior to a national championship run I will have much ill will. And as much to Purdue for letting him (and a possible NC) melt away. No, Braden is a Boiler by the grace of God. And a Boiler he shall remain. At all costs IMO.
I would pay to see him stay. Anyone else?
I would never have any ill will toward a person trying to most capitalize on their talents if that is what they want out of life. As for having ill will toward Purdue, what does that accomplish? Send letters to the richest alum and be more apart of the NIL rather than having ill will. Let your anger drive for something better.

IU's Next BB Coach is

On second thought, if I relayed on this board what Trilly is saying, Purdue heads would explode, it would be 'troll and mock the IU fanbase time' even though it's Trilly (who I don't believe has any particular connection to IU) is saying it, and I would be quoted for the brunt of the trolling. So not going there.

One thing I forget about playing Wisconsin - is they will play aggressive and force the refs to call everything. Curious what refs we get.

Does anyone know if the refs ever review game films?

They are supposed to review the teams they are reffing ahead of the game. Helps them see tendencies and understand the flow.

Should the league review games after and make decisions to stop using refs because of terrible calls? 100%. Do they? Absolutely not.

The B1G won’t win a NCAA title until we start demanding the best refs for our games, especially the elite of the conference.
I don’t think I understand why the refs matter if the big ten continues to put teams in the F4 and NC?

The B1G has either had the 2nd most teams in the F4 since 2000…or at least close to it.

Except for that random year Baylor won, KU is the only big 12 team to win the whole thing from the big12 since 1946…
