If you support Harris, read this....

These are the types of policies Harris fights and advocates for.
Other than the extreme far left, I don't know how any normal, rational adult could be OK with this.

The ghosts of the 2019 Dem primary are nasty…

Gicarri Harris

I am going with 2025 Elite 8 and 2026 NC in Indy. That's like a home game!
what hole in the lineup would Painter need to fill next year to make serious run at a NC? Is it that 6'7 wing scorer who can get you the tough bucket on a clear out in crunch time?
Is it a 6'4 ball handling guard, Ivey type, where you can give him the ball and tell him to find a way to get a score?

Here’s what I don’t get

That seems to be what Bielima was alluding to in his post game presser.....
With that info flying around the recruiting landscape, can you imagine the fuel that is creating for other coaching staffs to undermine CRW's recruitment of players....
At the end of Hazell's last recruiting class, I recall a Gold and Black article where Purdue was trying sway a Western Michigan 2 star WR in the 11th hour of the signing date..... That's what happens when everyone on the street knows more about the state of your program than the admin does.....

ECU fires coach…

Thanks for posting the timeline. Purdue only had a 3-day notice that Brohm was leaving.

I never thought that Brohm as a good hire. Whenever you hire someone who makes it clear that they have a specific dream job elsewhere and they will jump as soon as it is open, you should pass and look for a long-term investment.

Brohm jumps in 3 days and many of his recruits go into the transfer portal, depleting Purdue's talent roster.

What does Purdue do? They hire a young inexperienced coach that may have potential. They needed to hire a veteran head coach that could take over the remainder of what Brohm built.
Purdue knew before Brohm left that Brohm was leaving. They knew before the season started he was leaving.

Scrimmage?

I am sure it won’t happen, but DJ looks like the player who could benefit most from a redshirt to my eyes. The sky is the limit for him, but he is just so thin that I feel like he will be pushed around in the physical Big Ten. I could see him being completely dominant later in his college career after he adds some strength.

His body type reminds me of Jujuan Johnson, except that he is a lot taller.

I suppose the argument against DJ redshirting is that he will go pro before his fifth season. I could sort of buy that, but it assumes a lot. I don’t think we know what will be best for him at this point.
I think I'm to the point where I don't want anyone to redshirt ever. With the transfer portal, it's unlikely guys will play 5 years for Purdue even if they do redshirt so I'd prefer guys get whatever minutes they can and/or be ready if injury happens.

Jacobson and Burgess will see more benefit from getting some run in games early in the season than redshirting IMO. And with Furst being the only projected loss next season (and the Final Four being in Indy), I want everyone to get as much game experience as possible. The lone exception would be Benter because he may be 2 years away from contributing given the logjam we project to have at the wing.

Here’s what I don’t get

I have to believe that fire him for cause speculation came from the mouth of margie taylor greene. and there is as much truth to it as there is about the Dominin voting machines changing the ballots. Some people believe anything they see. and if they lie enough about it, people start believing it.

that rumor was probably started by a fan who didn't want to buy out Walters, so he has to make things up to reduce the buy out.

I have another idea. despite what you 20-30 die hard posters want, Maybe BOBO has a different plan. and that is to keep Walters, just to annoy you and create threads and clicks on this board.
Wole, you just reach a new pinochle of stupid posts........

Here’s what I don’t get

I dont know. When you're this bad in the college ranks (especially P5), the stench usually follows you. I'm trying to think of a FBS head coach that was terrible and then resurrected his career to come back as a successful FBS head coach. Im sure its probably happened but I can't think of anyone off the top of my head.
With the CRW hiring having gone so poorly, we need a winning coach that has momentum. Our football program is dead in water and it needs a coach that has a record of rebuilding a program.
When Brohm left, his departure and prior two years of recruiting hurt our program....
In CRW, his lack of experience in various coaching and program building facets were no match for the job at hand.

You reap what you sow

Here, I'll say it slower this time:
On what scientific basis or evidence supported the policy of wearing a mask when walking through a restaurant but not while sitting at a table?

Are you also aware that there is no evidence or data that would support the fact that non-maskers or non-vaxers died at any different rate, now or when even when covid was more prevalent?
How about the mass firings of good workers who refused to get the “vaccine”, when there was NO PROOF that getting the “vaccine” would prevent you from getting and transmitting Covid?

Whoops, we were wrong. Sorry !

ECU fires coach…

We played in the BT Championship on Dec 3rd. Satterfield was announced at Cincy on Dec 5th. Brohm was announced at UL on Dec 8th. Walters was announced at Purdue on Dec 13.

Yeah the secretary thing is nonsense... Not having control of the program is legit and there is a TON of video evidence of it.... and commits changing their mind, people leaving for "personal reasons", getting more yards in penalties than on offense.... historic home loss.....

I could go on... but moot point now. I dislike firing people, but if it were me in CRW's shoes.. I would be like "yeah, I see it".

Then go somewhere that will help me grow in to the coach I want to be. He's young enough that he'll get hired on at a DIV 2/3 school ... learn what he needs to and then come back up the ranks.

Jesus is Mocked By Harris & Supporters @ Rally

How can you support Harris when she supports policies (actually, actively worked towards implementing these policies) that would allow a CONVICTED MURDER to get a sex change operation funded by tax payers, while in prison? I mean, how the hell can any normal person be in agreement with this?

Many of us don't agree with it, nor are we casting our votes based on it.

No Love for Reggie on Purdue’s own site

Successive Monday morning checks of Purdue’s own individual rushing stats for Friday night’s Duck Walk showed “Ethon Cole” and later “Trey Smith” as the Purdue player who ran 11 times for a game-high 93 yards.

If Purdue can’t even get its own damned stats right for its own damned players -- and arguably its one and only highlight in a nationally televised fiasco -- what levels of pathetic performance and/or error-filled chaos are being allowed to dominate this athletic department?
