How did he bait her lol? Anybody paying attention was saying she needed to do more interviews and with media who would push her to answer questions and define her positions.

She took the interviews and had the opportunity to give the voters something to vote for. The result was essentially more of the same. She whiffed a couple times when asked to talk about what she would have done differently. It's not an easy question for a VP but a good politician should be able to handle it. She didn't.

What about Pat Fitzgerald

Fletch, TKR and Braden looked great.. other 2 spots are open. Of the rest of the team, Cox and DJ impressed me most. My guess is that will be the starting 5 by start B1G schedule. This team really need 2 or 3 guys to step up as scorers. Miles and Heide are most likely to step up. The game will be a great teaching tool for CMP and I think will benefit us once the season starts.

I will be SO glad when Covid years are over. Yes, Purdue benefitted greatly from Jones, but other than him they've done it the traditional way with their impact guys while being ranked in top 5 three years in a row. Very impressive, and it makes you wonder if they would have been even more dominant if Covid years weren't granted during that stretch.

Along the same lines, Kurtis Rourke is a genuinely good quarterback. I follow Ohio U. almost as much as I follow Purdue (lived in Athens for six years). His older brother, Nathan Rourke, also an Ohio U. qb, got a few NFL tryouts before finding a career in the CFL.

Yes, even though that offense had departures for NBA, they picked up guys that kept them an elite offense last night.

I actually think if they were more post centric, they might even be better than what they are in the coming year.

I mean, Indiana pasted Nebraska last week but hen Nebraska looked very respectable at OSU yesterday. I don't think many people are going to accuse OSU of being soft.
