28-7 at the end of the first quarter. We have no point guard... Amiyah cannot handle the ball under pressure from ND, Jones cannot pass, Lobard is not playing pg, but shooting guard, and not getting the ball passed to her in scoring position, same with Swanson. McCarthy and Puryear have yet to touch the ball on offense. ZERO assists. 8 Turnovers, and outrebounded 16-8. Not sure this team can win 10 games playing like this.

Welp. Just got home & turned the game on. 28-7 at end of Q1. And announcer said Purdue with its 8th (!!!) turnover already. In one quarter of play .. Oh my

Why the hell is Jones bringing the ball up on offense? She doesn't look to pass unless she cannot find a terrible shot for herself first.

Jones inbounds the ball under our basket, runs laterally down the out of bounds and gets the ball passed back to her while she is still out of freaking bounds....... We look like an NAIA team against a top 6 NCAA team.... Collier in the game now..... she has NO BUSINESS in this game.

I wish Jacobsen a full recovery…and it will allow him to become physically ready for college ball. So…essentially he is back to his regular class status.

I would play Burgess and Furst at the center position with Berg only when the two get in foul trouble.

McCarthy has no touches on offense

we are down 11-3 and the game feels more lopsided than that.

Having said all that, I think they need to beat Ohio State to deserve a playoff bid. Their non-conference schedule has been brutal and their conference schedule, which is admittedly is beyond their control, has been about as bad as it can be also. You can't tell me that if they finish with one loss and no BTCG, that they deserve to be in over some of those 2-loss SEC teams. I don't think they'd beat any top-half SEC team. And let's not forget they had Louisville on the schedule and bought that game out. I don't think that's what we want to reward with the benefit of the doubt.

I agree they need to beat OSU to deserve it but honestly they got it already. I do expect the sec and big10 will each have 4 plus one each from 3 other conferences and Notre dame. I don’t see any other team that strikes me as worthy from any other conference unless something crazy happens in the conference champions games like smu winning acc.

If they indeed make it to Indy it will be interesting to see if they show out and support their team. Sadly when we went, the CG was NOT well attended by Purdue fans even though we were an hour from campus and we mostly knew it would be our last time in a long time we’d go.

If the game is close and lose then they probably deserve to be in for consideration.
