"The Great Divider" is only that because you chose to be hateful despite objective improvements in this country. You were appalled that his administration got things done despite the huge headwinds he faced. Not his fault. Biden wasn't constantly in the news for insane decisions that have zero positive impact. It was nice having that after the chaos of 2017-2020.

You refuse to acknowledge how Obummer messed up healthcare.
You refuse to acknowledge how Bidumb caused inflation.
You refuse to acknowledge how Democrats are soft on crime.
You refuse to acknowledge how Democrats have no plan. They just bitch and scream about anything Trump does regardless of how good it is for the country.

I acknowledge everything Trump does is not all good for everyone including myself.

Gas prices around the country are down. For some inexplicable reason they are up in Lake County Indiana. I was in Orland Park Sunday and gas was cheaper there than here.

Probably the hardest part of this fall for the coaches will be getting them to gel and have some sort of cohesiveness. I too am getting excited about the season. I don’t want to look at my posts from 2 years ago at this time, but I see some solid rated players on board. Maybe by the end of the season they’ll be very competitive. Glad game number 12 is a home game for the Bucket.

It all began when an idiot son of an asshole tanked the global economy in 2008, and the Obama administration stopped the bleeding and reversed the downward spiral. Then, there was a spate of school shootings. Republicans had the answer: more guns, arm everyone to the teeth! At that point, it became clear that Republicans were not the answer. Then came Trump, who has been objectively the worst president at least in my lifetime.

And that should be encouraging! We needed a new culture and leadership. And a new offensive and defensive scheme.

The sad part is the amount of portal activity that will probably happen next season. I bet we don’t loose as many. We will see how many of these guys are looking for money vs PT vs being bought into Odom’s vision.

I have to believe we will still see 30-35 transfers next year. In the meantime…we will enjoy the current team and upcoming season!!

Ok, humor aside(maily), everyone knows the earth is round except for some strange beings who believe it is flat, or of a shifting shape like a bug ball of smoke or a cloud, and some really really strange ones who think it's a cube... But I think we can safely disregard them. Now the direct common sense evidence of sight shows that the sun rises in the east then it patiently travels through the sky until it sets in the west (you can actually watch it do this if you have a good pair of really dark sunglasses). Now at night when most of us are sleeping the sun is traveling under the earth in the dark( it has no trouble with this because it itself is so bright) until it get to the other side where it can rise again. It has been doing this for a long long time...

Everyone thought that IU got a lot of transfers last year. I think they had 48 to 49 transfers from the Portal.

Well, our team is going to top that, and it is going to be by a wide margin. I believe we are sitting at 54 to 55 transfers current coming in, and we are not done yet from what it seems.

This is going to be literally a brand new team. This is definitely going to be Odom's team. Walter's guys are pretty much erased. I cannot remember a Purdue football team going into a new season in the last 25 years where I didn't seem to know minimum of 75% of the team. I will be lucky to know 5% of this team.

Should be an interesting year coming up.
