In WWII we had 13 4 star generals. Today we have 38. What are we doing today that justifies having triple the number that we had to run our military during the biggest war in history? Much like the rest of government, bloat does not equal better or more efficient.
So tell me. How is cutting these 4 star generals, that served the country honorably by the way, going to bring down the inflation?
Don't show me you're a Democrat by showing me you're a Democrat. Eliminating generals is not going to lower inflation. It's a step towards making the military more efficient by streamlining. More management does not always lead to increased efficiency or mission focus. It also focuses on meritocracy instead of promotion by seniority.
The point I'm making is that with all of this BS DOGE'ing, the BS anti-DEI, the BS Canada buying, the BS Alcatraz re-opening, the BS Gulf name changing, the BS Greenland taken over has absolutely nothing to do with bringing down grocery and retail pricing. Or, bring down the gas prices. To me that is more important than anything. Unless I missed it during the election but I never heard not one plan by Chump to do that. Since inauguration I have not heard of a plan for this. Instead with these BS tariffs the opposite is happening. But yet, Chump wants to remove 4 star generals who have served the country honorably. Chump's priorities are all jacked up.
You forgot the 6,000 person military parade that Trump is trying to arrange for his birthday.

Yep. That parade is ridiculous. Chump wanted that parade crap his last term. Also, the millions of dollars to golf every weekend and attend the Super Bowl. Hannity and others on Faux News lost their minds talking about Obama golfing.
Maybe he's doing what he said he would do. Cutting excess waste to cut our trillions of dollars of deficit spending.

Every cut can’t be for billions in waste. A little here and there make for substantial savings.
So why is Chump abandoning addressing the inflation situation? What is his plans for that?

Well, it's been over a hundred days now of DOGE this and DOGE that. Anti-DEI this and anti-DEI that. Are the grocery and retail prices down? Are the gas prices down? No they are not down? So now what?
So what is the truth? What are Chump's plans to stop corporations from price gouging? The real cause of this inflation that started during COVID.
Gas prices around the country are down. For some inexplicable reason they are up in Lake County Indiana. I was in Orland Park Sunday and gas was cheaper there than here.
Because there are all kinds of factors that affect the price of gasoline. One being geography.

I don’t know what the savings are to date. You seem to have an issue with eliminating government waste. I guess we differ on that.

You seem to have an issue with improving grocery and retail prices. Wasn’t that supposed to be solved on January 21st? Along with the war in the Ukraine. Along with the war in Gaza.

Eggs are down. Many other grocery items are down. Retail prices have not increased yet. Don’t know what you’re talking about on those issues.

Lower energy prices through decreased regulation, more pipelines, and more deals are working to bring down inflation.
Right, Biden drove inflation from 1.5% to 9% in just 16 months. The rate is lower now, but that doesn't mean prices went back down.

Biden did not drive up inflation. The greedy corporations price gouging drove up the inflation. They actually started price gouging toward the end of Chump partly due to COVID. Then they had the logistics issue towards the end of Chump and the beginning of Biden.
You are correct that it doesn’t mean that the prices went down because they did not. I am telling they are still price gouging.
I am completely for eliminating government waste. Eliminating the debt as I have said here repeatedly. Why would you assume otherwise? Maybe I believe it was being done by a gazillionaire who also happens to receive more money from government contracts than anybody else. Because he used twenty somethings with few security clearances but lots of access to gather info on anything they chose, including accusations of private info on citizens. Despite predictions of a trillion dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse, nothing close has been found and Elon has taken a powder. Not to mention this "department" was created by trump alone. Congress has been left out.
A good trump idea executed recklessly and without forethought.
Of course Biden didn't drive up inflation.
The Green New Deal and the Inflation Reduction Act were passed by Congress not Biden.
And he is getting blamed for letting millions of illegals into this Country too, that is also a big lie.
It's all the fault of Congress, laws were needed to stop the illegal immigrant parade.
