Will the Boilers have a potent offense?

Brees put up gaudy numbers and led Purdue to the first Rose Bowl in decades. And he wasn't really in serious consideration for the Heisman. Yeah, he got to go the ceremony. But he was never gonna win it.
Brees came in 3rd I believe. I Think he was a distant 3rd, like it wasn’t close. AOC would do well for himself and the program to make the ceremony. I think the national title contenders form the Big10 and SEC are usually going to win. It’s usually a QB award, but every now and then the top RB or WR might have a chance.

Brees finished that season with a bad game in a loss at MSU and then Tiller ran the ball all over iu to clinich the Rose Bowl. I don't think Brees even threw for 200 yards that game. Lowe had like 35 carries for 200+ or something crazy that game.
Coming off the OSU win, if PU beats MSU at MSU and Brees had a decent game, Tiller would have let him throw for 8 TDs vs iu.

10-2 won't get him the Heisman. Sorry, it ain't gonna happen. The Heisman is Stroud's or Young's to lose. Just the way it is.
You do never know. Last year the odds went all over the place. Remember Kenneth Walker was the favorite for a couple weeks until they played in WL.

I got AOC listed on our site at the request of a big bettor. He was priced at 125/1, moved to 80/1, and I just looked again and he moved to 70/1. Puts him in a tie for 23rd in odds.
