Purdue announces home-and-home with Iowa State

Love that Painter is pushing for stronger non-con games to push his teams.

Would still like to add one with Gonzaga or an ACC team perhaps UNC. Would be fun for Jalen Washington to get a chance to play against his former team wearing the gold and black….

glad to see it's ISU, I always like the way they play, also noticed that Braden's pic is used in the announcement ( good sign I guess)

Not sure you'd want him at this point though he'd probably replace Furst.

Replace Furst and maybe have a true serviceable 4…..he is one I’m mad we missed on. There was another guard from Ohio who picked UNC when they came in as a late offer. Can’t remember his name but he didn’t pan out because of injuries.

Maybe Jeremiah Francis you thinking of, Beef?

Excellent - think we’ve only faced them a handful of times. Should be a good challenge.

Last meeting was a doozy - that crazy 2nd round 4/5 match-up in Milwaukee (2017 NCAA) where Purdue lost a 19-pt second half lead only to prevail in the last few minutes......plenty of stress, drama, and exuberance - just how we like it....haha.

Keep 'em coming - this is a great add and good for both programs.

Washington has been a disappointment. But UNC themselves have been as well. Almost like Caleb love wasn't their problem.

And PJ with the game-winning shot, iirc.

He hit the 3-pt FG to get Purdue the lead back after Iowa State took its first lead of the game, and he also made the two FT's under 10 seconds to seal it.....not without more myocardial difficulty though, as Caleb Swanigan got the key rebound off Dakota Mathias' missed front end to get to PJ.....and avoid giving the Cyclones' one last chance.

That game left just about everybody (teams, coaches, fans in the stands, officials, and viewers) exhausted.

Yeah he has but he hasn’t been the same since his injury. Believe he got injured his senior year of high school? Then got injured at UNC.

The kid I was thinking of was Jeremiah Francis from Pinkerington. He followed Sterling Manning who had a massive senior year and ended up at UNC. Think he was okay there.
