Seams Illinois is always talking about the next years class...
IU is never happy...
Nebraska is 1-8 in last 9 games. TM has not done much since they joined B1G
Nebraska job has a longer leash than Illinois, but wouldn't be surprised if Miles got fired. If you have won a Big Ten championship within the last couple years, you won't get fire unless you abuse players, have a bunch of recruiting infractions, or do something else unbecoming of the program you are at.
I believe Illinois has a great recruiting class coming in next season. Might be a catch 22 letting him go. On the other hand watching how little coaching typically affects the Illini player's performances, I would say firing gross would not matter.
I wouldn't be totally shocked if one or two of those guys gets the pink slip this spring.
Groce might be on the thinnest ice based on his thoroughly underwhelming tenure so far. Plus, he's never been a hit with the fan base. But, he also has a major-league recruiting class coming in next year. That might buy him one more go-around.
Tim Miles hasn't done much since making the NCAA Tournament in 2014. I like him and think he's actually a pretty good fit at Nebraska (a really tough place to win consistently). My bet is he gets one more year.
Crean --- who knows, nothing connected to Indiana basketball really surprises me anymore. But, firing a guy who won the B1G and advanced to the S16 last year and then started this year with 2 top-10 victories seems like a stretch considering the injuries that Indiana has had. I think Crean will be back next year.
