A major beating by a team that Indiana beat and a team that last year's Purdue team took to OT.
With four experienced and starters and some depth, there is no excuse for being throttled like this. Sometimes teams rebound from these thrashings, but usually not. The BT is not as good mostly as SC despite Hoosiers win, but hard to believe this team will be much better than the middle now and that was not apparent going into the season, but they have not played well vs any good teams. And D was supposed to be their strength; it was not at all today.
Now, of course, the cries to get rid of Versyp will rise again and, perhaps, unless this team turns it around and despite good recruiting, it may happen this time.

What happened to Traylor? She's in a real funk... is she hurt? I've always thought that when she's playing well she's the best player on the team talent wise... And Jennelle Grant is looking like a bust....Purdue just doesn't have the overall talent to compete against good teams... they have 2 or 3 good players in Harris, Karissa and Oden and then the talent level plummets after that...especially if Traylor is struggling... This all goes back to recruiting...Sharon can't have top 16 classes with just 2 players... she needs a 3 or 4 person recruiting class that is in the top 5 overall nationally to get this program back competitive against top 5 teams like SC.

I thought it was a victory. I expected Purdue to lose by 50.
