WARNING: THIS WON'T APPLY TO KH'S THAT PREFER TO RELIVE WHAT WE DIDN'T ACHIEVE. IF THAT IS YOU, MY SUGGESTION IS TO PUT ME ON "IGNORE." THAT SAID, THIS IS ONLY AN OPINION.

"Learn to move forward from the reality of “the way things are” instead of “the way you wish they would be”.

Many times when things aren’t working out the way we want them to, we spend time dwelling on “If only”, “I should have”, “They should have”, “I wish they would just …”, etc. Doesn’t it waste a lot of time and energy? Maybe it even locks you up and prevents you from moving forward.

Doesn’t it make more sense that the sooner we can accept “the way things are”, it will free us up to make the best choices to move forward in a meaningful way? Wouldn’t this approach more likely result in an attitude of taking responsibility instead of blaming and feeling like a victim? And in-turn, won’t it probably reduce stress as well?
