As Purdue fans we should be embarrassed. ESPN just ranked Purdue as the worst coaching job in the Big Ten:

Apparently to develop the list they gathered feedback from current coaches and others in the industry. They considered factors like location, fan support, facilities, administrative support, recruiting base, tradition, etc.
I'm sure many of you will use this as additional ammo to go after Burke. But we need to take some ownership in this, as it all doesn't fall on Burke. As fans and boosters we need to start owning this issue. The lack of fan support. The lack of funding to really compete with the elite on facilities. These are things we can directly improve. We need to quit playing the blame game with Burke and actually start owning this issue if we want to see better results from our athletic program!
