I 100% disagree with them leaving.
I want them all to stay. They are Boilers everyone.
But essential to keep are the big 3 obviously......then DJ and Cox. Hope CMP adds a couple starter quality to that core base.

Both have family ties to Purdue, but I would not rule out them testing the market as I feel they probably believe that they could be much more effective in a different offensive scheme. That’s just my take on the situation. Wouldn’t be completely taken aback if there was a departure.I 100% disagree with them leaving.
Maybe it’s less about pulling scholarships now than it is about pulling NIL $ ?Yes all can and add 2 more since scholarships go from 13 to 15.
Oh for sure but also two spots open up next yearMaybe it’s less about pulling scholarships now than it is about pulling NIL $ ?
I’d be pretty disappointed tbh. Don’t think it happens, especially with schools able to pay directly next year. Both have family ties to Purdue, but I would not rule out them testing the market as I feel they probably believe that they could be much more effective in a different offensive scheme. I hope they stay as well, but if Painter decides to hit the portal, those are the two positions of need. The comparisons with Newman are spot on. Flashes of brilliance followed by long stretches of 'meh'.I 100% disagree with them leaving.
I think we as fans put a little too much into the loyalty aspect of college players. It's a different game now with the portal, ease of transfer, NIL, etc. For some players, these are as much business decisions as they are about where a player dreamed of playing or where his parents/relatives played. Both have family ties to Purdue, but I would not rule out them testing the market as I feel they probably believe that they could be much more effective in a different offensive scheme. Colvin was pretty damn good yesterday on defense and his offense came alive a bit. Heide looks very timid and back to his first of the season ways. Not sure why and maybe that’s just who he is.I hope they stay as well, but if Painter decides to hit the portal, those are the two positions of need. The comparisons with Newman are spot on. If you have a Boiler background (watch the games), I don't see how you could think this won't be a top 10 team next year. Including team members.I think Purdue will have to put together a competitive offer, just like they did this year. I think Braden recognizes what he has at Purdue and wouldn’t look to go elsewhere unless the money were so much greater that he couldn’t say no.
This is all based on the assumption that Purdue has a decent season. If they’re not winning, Braden may be tempted to go somewhere where he has a chance to make it back to the final four.
I hope MC stays, but if he and his family have pro hopes, (whether realistic or not), that could factor into his decision.Colvin was pretty damn good yesterday on defense and his offense came alive a bit. Colvin isn’t leaving. Heide…I’d give 20%
I think they can be a FF team next year, but Painter needs to add a couple of pieces from the portal. If you have a Boiler background (watch the games), I don't see how you could think this won't be a top 10 team next year. Including team members.
