Maybe I’m wrong but we’ll know soon. If Pegram’s crystal ball pick doesn’t change before the 30th you’ll know its IU. He doesn’t make predictions unless he knows for sure but there’s time for him to change his pick. No, that’s not my guy.

I’m sure he would have loved to have gotten rid of them but the administration wouldn’t let him. Anyways, I’m starting to feel like it’s 50/50 for Kaufman now. If IU doesn’t get him but then gets Miller as a consolation prize and still gets Mohammed I’ll be happy. Just from video and Kaufman being an Indiana boy I’d rather have him than Miller but Miller is probably a 4 year player where Kaufman is a 1-3 probably a 2 year player so they each have their pros not really many cons. My gut feeling right now has changed though to in the last hour he’ll pick PU.
So yes I’m back tracking but this is what I think and not what I’ve been told. I think it’s weird that Bryce Haskins or whatever his name is hasn’t committed to U.K. yet. I feel IU or Illinois has made a late push for him. The only way IU would do that is if CAM knows he’s not getting Kaufman. It could be Illinois though that’s holding that commitment up.

Not saying he should have cut everyone loose, but if there were cancers in the program, it's no wonder the IU BB program has been mired in the current state.
There are cancers in the IU program and they'll never get rid of them. They're the "fans" that come over here beating their chests every fall only to go into hibernation once cupcake season is over.
His freshman group has good guys that I really like. I know Lander’s high school coach and Lander is hat you would expect but as long and you have good guys around him hopefully he doesn’t cause problems. He may only be there a couple years anyways.

I don’t recall the specifics but the administration did tie CAMs hands when he came in. IIRC, the APR was the primary issue. I believe the AD actually confirmed it in a press conference. This will be the first year where almost all of the players were recruited by Miller for his system (with the exception of Durham).

Which is exactly what we're being told in this thread, and one big (but not singular) reason why IU BB has been what it has been, and is what it is.
The only guy on HSN to listen to is CoachSS and HoosierFan34.
As for this IU fan who has come over here and said seemingly every, single wrong thing... apologies. He stole his parents phone and had some free time. I think many of the normal, sane IU fans have a good grasp of the program's foundation, where we are going, etc.

Like we have dominated IU on the court for the last few years, I think it is a good chance we dominate IU in this head to head recruiting battle.

Im thinking this one is genuinely too close to call. The poster on HSN that said he’s hearing it’s Purdue lives in Denver and seems to have tenuous ties to the university at best. The only recruitment I remember him having info on was Deron Davis and it was because he would go to Davis’ games in high school. The poster I mentioned in earlier posts that does have a good track record has been MIA. Usually he drops a hint if he’s hearing it’s another school. The other 2 or 3 somewhat reliable “insiders” have been mum. I think it’s safe to say the Kaufmans are playing it close to the chest.
A roster of Ivey, Morton, Furst and Kaufman will likely be ranked top 10 their entire careers.
