Most draft boards have him late first, early second round.
In my mind I think Edey may be able to play if a team decided to design their offense to match Edey's skill set, however, I'm not sure Edey is good enough to be the focus of an NBA offense. If he's not the focus and needs to play out on the floor like other NBA bigs, I don't see how it works. Either way, if I were a GM I'd have a hard time seeing how Edey helps get me into the top tier of NBA teams.
My guess is he gets drafted and hangs around the league for 4 or 5 years as a back up center. Considering the Median age of an NBA player is 25 and Zach is almost 22 that wouldn't be too bad.
