Keep in mind almost all of these tickets are paper tickets and can't be transferred electronically, so the more "in-person" you can get, the better price you'll probably get. I.e. StubHub will not be the cheapest, but easiest.

Also, tickets are usually CHEAPEST showing up outside the arena the day of the game. There are a lot of tickets that end up on the streets and most do not find their way online. I paid $20 for lower level tickets the day of the game when Purdue played Ohio State in 2009 buying in-person. There will NOT be a shortage of tickets.

Keep in mind you're looking for Session 7.

the Big Ten needs to do away with that stupid colored logo in the middle of the court, it's very distracting and a total nuisance. GET RID OF IT. Come up with a new logo that makes sense. It's so ridiculous and it makes the big ten look bad.

I liked the logo when they first did it (prior to Nebraska/Maryland/Rutgers joined). Now it's gotten a little busy and too much red.

Good post. By Sunday, a lot of tickets hit the streets. Purdue fans need to buy them all up.

I bought tix in section 207 for 32 bucks apiece from an IU fan on craigslist

Just as point of reference for people, face value tickets in the upper level are $70+ (with fees).

I'd suspect tickets on the street will be under $20 tomorrow.

Yeah you may be right. We decided to go ahead and get them in case a bunch of Sparties decide to make the trip down. Plus we needed 5 together.

You paid a very reasonable price (considering what they're going for on StubHub...like I mentioned, those sites are not your friend for conference tournaments).

MSU has a lot of fans already there for the weekend and they were loud during the Maryland game. Boiler fans need to bring it.

Yes, busy is the word. My thoughts exactly. It's just a confused piece of slop-work. Notice I dare not call it artwork. That would be a slam to artists everywhere.

FYI, there are a lot of tickets for sale on Craigslist. These people are desperate to sell, so don't be afraid of the asking price. A friend of mine just got 2 lower level tickets for a total of $125 (the person was asking that much per ticket).

StubHub has dropped down too.

SeatGeek is the best because you can see if you are getting ripped off or not

FYI People are getting desperate on Craigslist. Lots of lower levels are popping up. Negotiating is your friend.

Kudos to you, Ilbodel, the hardest working "informal broker" on the Board. Good info, and I hope Boiler fans can take advantage and enjoy the game in person if they are able to. Boilers making their third BTT championship game appearance.

The students need to show up more. Wouldn't it be easy for a frat to buy a block of tickets and make the hour drive down?

It's spring break right now I believe. There also aren't blocks of tickets to buy - they are all on the secondary market.

However, I think Purdue could do a better job of getting fans to games. I received an email from a school I purchased tickets from a while back promoting to buy tickets through their secondary ticket partner (StubHub) because they had no tickets to sell. Purdue doesn't have to worry about selling anymore tickets this year, so push fans to buy tickets elsewhere - they have a partnership with StubHub.

At least it'll help the team.

Tickets on StubHub have dropped to $30 for any last minute folks out there...
