Tom Izzo has stated pg Cassius Winston is the best passer at MSU since Magic Johnson. Nick Ward is a beast down in the low block. Ward's numbers are very similar to Swanigan's as a freshman (although Ward is a much better shot blocker) The final piece of the freshman group is McDonald's All American Josh Langford who is just rounding into form after a lingering hamstring injury. This does not appear to be your grandfather's Penn State....good win for the Nittany Lions. They've had some players over the years, but I think Chambers is starting to make his team more consistently competitive.....still early....we'll see. Clearly so far, what people thought the lower part of the league would be is no pushover.....and the top of the league may be somewhat volatile.

This could be a roller coaster conference season.....Boilers better buckle up.
