Shoop's scheming...or lack thereof

cost us the game. We are running the entirely incorrect system and formations for the talent we have.

Say what you want about the D....but I really feel the only thing they lack is depth (LB depth is wiped out by injuries) and an offense that can give them consistent rest. 3 TOs generated today...resulting in 3 3 and outs!

This D isn't world beaters but they stepped up and for the second time this year they gave our team the chance to win a road game vs a ranked team. Instead Shoop chose to take a dump all over the field.

To add to this... Our D had the following sequence in the second half:

Got a turnover on downs when we broke up a pass on 4th down. Interception. Interception. 3-and-out.

The offense thanked them with zero points.

Nothing we run is complicated. It's a dated pro style offense spliced and aborted into a run type spread thingy that just isn't getting it done and leaves our athletes little space to make plays.

I didn't see a single kid on Northwestern id trade for a counterpart on our team.

We just flat out got out coached our O bs their D.
