Was told that it was a “lucky 3” by Illinois twitter
Watched an Illinois guy on YouTube claim Illinois is still the better team without Big Ten refs. Even his co-host was like, uhhhh...
Haha I was also told on Twitter that Purdue got foul calls when it mattered most.
- They were home, on senior night
- Had TSJ
- Shot more FTs and made more than Purdue attempted
- Had less fouls than Purdue and it’d be even less if they hadn’t sent in that freshman to foul edey 4 times intentionally over 2 min and 25 seconds of game time
- Had more steals
- Shot it better In the first half
- had only 2 less rebounds than purdue at the end of the game and I think they out rebounded Purdue in first half
- got edey in foul trouble in first half
- held Purdue to 1/6 shooting from 3 in first half
- had the lead at half
I mean cmon. What more do they want?
Hey, it sucks when calls go your way and you play a hell of a defensive game and you lose.......
U of I better get prepared as I would not be surprised they lose at Iowa. Teams have not faired well the game after playing us.
