Question: I thought hook and hold was reviewable by refs?

That's not really the flagrant hook/hold situation....even if they reviewed it, wouldn't have been anything.

Could it/should it have been an offensive foul? Arguably, but that would have had to have been on the initial call - they missed it, and that's not subject to review.

That's not the type of "hook-and-hold" that the rule is designed for. That was simply a hook designed to clear out the defender.

Because the speed of the game is greater than the number of refs. They miss a lot. They miss judge alot. We have seen that for years.

And even if coach calls for it, if the refs miss judged it to start with they likely aren't going to review.
