I have a question that I hope someone with a deep knowledge of the game can answer. It is always been said by announcers that Purdue's offense is very complex and difficult with an above normal number of play and sets. Is it that comples and if so does it actually do more harm then good bcause most players can't completely understand it or does it give us an extreme advantage because defenses become confused when playing aginst us? Would it be better to simplify the playbook so that everyone understands it better and can perform better. It is often said by the coaches that most of the young players don't grasp the whole playbook and therefore don't play as much. It seems(and I may be wrong) that alot of other teams play younger players who understand their sytem of play.
