In 10 Big Ten games, the Boilers are grabbing 38% of offensive rebounds while only giving up 19% offensive rebounds to opponents. Purdue's advantage on the offensive boards is earning 6.4 extra possessions per game versus what opponents are earning on their offensive boards against Purdue (in nearly equal opportunities). This team is far from perfect, but they are the best rebounding Purdue team that I have ever seen.

Which brings up the worst stat….turnovers. If we were just AVERAGE on turnovers, the advantage that our rebounding provides would be huge.

Although it's been a season+-more long problem.....at least this year, there has been some glimpses that the Boilers can take care of the ball, and fortunately (IMO), a lot of this is in the team's control.

TO's, rebounding, FT%, and FG% (overall and 3-pt) I think will show how successful this team can dictate it's game-plan and have successful results on the court. Two have been fairly constant all season.....work on the other areas and defend the 3pt line well, and I think this team could get some really good wins.....what some are calling a "Marquee" win......we shall see.

And similar to BDaddy.....best rebounding I have seen in quite a while, especially on the defensive glass.

A win Saturday would probably be the best win in the conference to date. Big Challenge for the Boilers.....let's hope they're up for it. I'll be ready with a new remote.
