Purdue is ontheir heels. Ivey and Newman need to get in the lane more. More vertical movement of players AND passes to post. Looks like purdue so afraid of getting in an up and down game that they become a bit passive as MSU applies the pressure. Gillis has lost the ball twice turning his head before catching it. Not a bright spot for anyone although offensively ivey has shown more restraint on his perimeter shooting and driving the ball more. Attack the lane Purdue and rim if you can get there...you may want those fouls on msu later.
I look for a run early in the half, but will msu return the run?
Well we might have one more run in us until we make another boneheaded play and the floodgates open.
Painter is the only coach that tolerates him. Watch Izzo go off on hime.
the thing is msu is a dumpster fire...we are still getting worked by an awful team.
