Yep another Nojel thread but this one is different than the others so please bear with me.

Anyway I had the opportunity for the first time to listen to Nojel in a post game radio interview and it amazes me at how respectful, well spoken and intelligent this young man is. He grasps what he needs to work on, what is different between HS and even just B1G play compared to pre-conference play.

But it was the way he respected the people interviewing him using "sir" and not a forced way it just rolled out so you can tell he does that often as it's part of his demeanor (if that makes sense).

Anyway, we are privileged to have not only a talented player, but one with such character which is getting rarer and rarer these days. Well done mom! You raised a good one!

Yep. Many of us are over 50 and know certain things have changed so much with our youth. To me, some of that is good some is not so good. That said, you are right this young man symbols things I like and shows me that there are still some old school values being passed on. It takes some of my worries away for the next age of what will be.

This sounds great. A humble one usually put more efforts forward, and be respectful. I saw the similar quality on Carson in full display during one of the commercial break last year.

These qualities hopefully be contagious to the team!

THAT was one of the first things I noticed about a Carsen interview when he was in high school. Fill the team with skilled winners in life and you have a good basis to win when things get tough on the court. Its all about getting a winning culture ... ;)
