I remember reading once that Burke kept a list of potential hires in his drawer for all sports, so I would assume that's the standard MO for an AD.
It seems like the two most probable places to look would be a head coach at a mid major or an assistant at a power conference.
When you look at schools that never used to be powers and that are now kicking butt, it is reasonable to hope we could get back to a semblance of our former standing. We have great facilities and used to have a terrific fan base, which hopefully would return if there was a good team to watch.
I don't follow the rest of college basketball enough to even hazard any sort of guess as to whom would be a good catch. Anyone?
