When the schedules came out our October looked brutal. Now...

Minnesota
101st rush offense
66th rush defense
92nd pass offense
14th pass defense

After limping to wins in the non-conference (3-point victories above Colorado State, Kent State, and Ohio) Minnesota just got shutout by an admittedly great Northwestern team. Their offense is in serious trouble, passing for just 99 yards against Northwestern despite being down basically the entire game, and generated only 74 rushing yards (2.2 yards/carry).

Wisconsin
74th rush offense
14th rush defense
70th pass offense
33rd pass defense

Their defense looks solid, but this might be the first time they've had to rely on some kind of passing component to their offense since Russell Wilson. Their starting RB is injured on their star RB recruit this year was denied admission to the school. They averaged 2.5 yards per carry against Iowa, who do have one of the statistically best run defenses in the country. They were able to pass for 234 yards, 55% completions, but also had 2 interceptions along with 2 fumbles. Wisconsin is as vulnerable as they've been in a while.

Nebraska
42nd rush offense
12th rush defense
28th pass offense
128th pass defense

Nebraska is the only FBS school that ranks below Indiana in pass defense, and by about 20 yards per game! They also just lost to Illinois, you know, the only Big Ten school we've beaten in over two years now. They could only put up 105 passing yards (32% completion percentage) and 187 rushing yards, 5.5 per carry.
