Safe to say everybody here a Purdue fan. Some are homers(that be me) and some are more self described as realists. Whether a homer that maybe realists see as reaching or realists that homers see as purely negative, maybe this forum a bit more enjoyable if we all show little more respect to each. I am guilty of it and allowed a couple(TC and Vile) to get to me and that was my bad and I apologize to them. Bottomline, nobody enjoys reading people knocking down each other constantly and trying to prove expertise. I enjoyed reading this forum prior to posting and at least will continue to read going forward. Lot of good info that is shared(recruiting updates etc) that many of us don't have time or knowledge first hand.

We lost to Minnesota not end of world. Thursday a great chance to win a big road game and get back on track for a successful season.

Sorry for the kumbaya moment. Boiler up!

Well I'm considered a homer by many here and a realist by others. I would consider myself a realist but I'm not with the group that considers themselves realists on here because I don't think they are. A realist would consider both the good and the bad and weigh them appropriately. The group here that consider themselves realists heavily focus on the negative and sometimes they won't even be here after wins. I would label that group professional complainers and I don't want to be any part of that.

What a stupid, nasty, terrible post! You must be a stupid, nasty terrible human being and I just added you to my 'eternal ignore' list. So there!
:>)

Here is a good rule to follow, when we lose avoid the forum at least until the following morning. Otherwise it's a rather toxic place to be.

Similarly when we win... avoid it because the winners high is running rampant.

Basically at least for a while the forum is engulfed in emotional posts and it takes a bit for that to die down and clearer thinking to come through.

Good post though OP.
