Charlie Creme has Purdue as one of "last four in," the same as last week, although maybe up a couple spots.

He has Purdue as a 10 seed, playing 7 Oklahoma State in Corvallis, with the winner likely facing Oregon State in Round 2.

Probably an illustration that Purdue needs to win Thursday to assure itself of being in - or at least feel good about it - because it might not be able to handle a bad loss.

Also, tournament upsets are concerning, obviously, when you're dancing this close to the line.

And Minnesota too. If the Gophers win their first game, then beat Indiana, an RPI 40, then do they move up, potentially ahead of Purdue? The Boilermakers have head-to-head on them, plus a better overall résumé, so I say no, but something to watch.

No doubt Purdue needs to win on Thursday. I don't see Purdue getting in with a loss to Penn State. Can't afford another bad loss.

If we lose Thursday we lose any right to complain no matter what our fate is.
