I agree if are new bigs are not better, we are in huge trouble and next year as a fan will be frustrating. But FYI--Painter recruited Donnal some.
But why does everyone just assume they are better? None have played D1 yet. I know Taylor is the great hope of some. But he cannot stay healthy. When he did play....tons of athleticism, little D other than a block here and there. The others - unproven and since day 1, Painter has recruited as many washouts as studs.
However, as evidenced by Painter's experience recruiting has lately produced a higher probability in the recruits success as of late. But we will see. I hope this higher probability of success continues and there are 2 difference makers in the new bunch that push for starting time as much as Carsen did. That just makes us better.
Worse part of Donnal transferring likely means Wilson and Wagner are coming back. I was hoping one of them would believe the hype and go pro.
