Years in dropping 7th home game of season losing to Big Ten's worst team, Penn State, which notched its 6th win against 18 losses 54-50. Purdue falls to 10-13 and is in danger of its first losing season since 1985-86. The injured Brigit Perry returned and started in place of Ashley Morrissette. Perry shot 2-13 and Morrissette came off the bench to shoot 2-12. Starting PG April Wilson shot 3-11 as the Boilers' best three guards combined for 7-36 and shot 29 percent for the game. Penn State did not score the first five minutes of game, but Purdue only scored 2 in the span. Lisa Clemons was only player in double figures with 12. Purdue is now 10-13 for season and 3-9 in Big Ten. The last time Purdue lost more then six home home games was 1983-84 season - 32 years and seven coaches ago!
