IU does it again

They replaced Virginia with kennesas st.

Thinking about it, more iu fans will probably go to the game to see IU play Kennesaw st.

I know you diehard Purdue fans hate the idea of playing weaker opponents.

But casual fans like myself love going to a game to see my favorite team blowing out the opponent.

Ask the guy or girl down the street. Would they rather see a 55-7 blowouts? Or a 16-14 game? I want to watch the blow out every time. It gives guy like RUDY a chance to play

They’re an awful program. They have to do whatever they can to manufacture wins. And guess what? I wish we would do the same. Had they kept Louisville on the schedule and lost, they would’ve missed the playoffs. As a kid I watched us beat notre dame at ross ade in person during the Brees years, and I still wish we would take them off the schedule. Probably going to be another 60-0 beat down this year.

I can understand people loving to see Purdue pull off a victory over a top ranked team.

I was there in the 70’s when Purdue shocked the world beating Michigan 16-14 or 14-13 or whatever.

But the truth is, while upsetting Michigan shocked the world beating, it was a very boring game.

If rather see Purdue blowing somebody out with 85 yard td runs and 55 yard Hail Mary passes. And kick off returns for tds and interceptions run back for 6z.

Blowouts are fun! And the tailgating afterwards is fun.

Winning 16-14 is boring

Much rather see a close game than a blowout. Blowout's serve no purpose for the team or the fans. And if Rudy ain't good enough to crack the line up, he doesn't deserve time on field.

I guess I’m more of a fan of the game of football than I am of the Purdue boilermakers!

One the most exciting games I ever watched was when Joe Montana as a third string qb, came into the game and led Notre dame to victory!

I love watching and cheering on a running back making a long run. He could go all the way. I don’t really care whose team he’s on.

I loved watching oj Simpson and Barry sanders and Walter Payton doing their thing.

I cheered for mark herman, Brady and manning and didn’t care what team they played for.

I loved all those UW running backs going all the way back to Billy marek and Rufus road runner Ferguson or Williams or whatever his name was.

I wasn’t born or raised in Indiana so I didn’t grow up with a hatred towards IU. Growing up all I really knew about IU was they had a great swim team, an awesome soccer team And Bobby kight.

Purdue had Rick Mount but my favorite college basketball player was Lew AlCinder.

I don’t consider myself a diehard Purdue fan who craves for that hard fought 16-14 score average some tough team.

I like to see an exciting game.

I watched the Ice Bowl. But the only thing I remember was the final Packers Td. The rest of the game was a boring blur.

So give me some excitement!

It’s odd how flip floppy Purdue fans here are. When I post how Purdue should Be more like Iowa and just be a boring team that wins low scoring games and finishes with 8-4 seasons, you all hate my suggestion and say , that’s not Purdue football. We are the cradle of QBs. We need to sit it out and score a lot of points. And then when I say, we need to play an easy schedule so we can air it out and score a lot of points, you say, no we need to play tougher opponents and win low scoring boring games.

So make up your minds! Do you like blowouts? Or low scoring games? It’s rather clear what IU wants. They are doing the same thing Alabama and OSU do scheduling cream puff non conference games.

I have to ask, when was the last time Purdue football was ranked in the top 20 and went to a significant bowl games? I realize you hate IU. But they were smart and accomplished both last year!

Casual fans love blow outs! And so do bars and pizza restaurants!

Wrong. I drove down from Downers Grove and saw us beat Michigan 16-14. It was exciting and fun!

One last time before the site is gone. Wolekaren, you have never been a fan of Purdue. I give you credit for keeping up the charade for so many years all while most of us figured you out a long time ago but the reality is you have never nor ever will be a fan of the Boilers.. Heller (RIP) among others busted you a LONG time ago for your many lies you have spewed on here with being a Purdue fan one of your biggest.

You're a self-entitled crybaby POS and the one silver lining to this site shutting down, is we most likely won't have to hear from you again and can actually enjoy conversations like we all used to do before you came along.

I will end with this as truly my last post to you, I hope you figure out your mental issues and your life comes around. I wish you well going forward and hope wherever you end up, you reflect on things and come out better for it.
